My teaching content area is Family and Consumer Sciences. I have my B.S. in FCS Education and MS in CTE.

I have previously taught Essentials of FAID and Fashion Trends. In past years, I've also managed Teaching Observation, Teaching Internship, and other FACS related internships. I am also the FCCLA adviser.

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family/friends, watching or playing most sports, and traveling. I enjoy teaching students life skills that are needed throughout everyday life to be a positive role model for their current/future family and that is needed in order to become productive citizens of society.

This course will introduce students to the principles of underlying teaching and learning, the responsibilities and duties of teachers, and the techniques of imparting knowledge and information. This course will expose students to train theme in classroom management, student behavior, leadership and human relations skills, assessment of student progress, teaching strategies, and various career opportunities in the field of education.
