I work for the Kansas Center for Career and Technical Education (KCCTE) as the Workshop Manager and as the Business/IT Mentoring Consultant. Previously, I was a high school Business/IT teacher for 15 years. Prior to being the KCCTE Workshop Manager, I was responsible for developing and maintaining the KCCTE Resource Library. Our goal is to continually update this library of CTE resouces, ensuring that the materials are valuable and easily accessible to all CTE teachers. I obtained my doctorate degree in Adult and Lifelong Learning from the University of Arkansas, and chose to complete my dissertation over Open Educational Resources (OER). The findings of this study were valuable in implementing procedures for the KCCTE Resource Library. All materials in this library are considered OER, meaning they can be edited and copied in order to adapt them for instruction.
